The “Who’s Who” of influential women in the legal profession recently convened in Austin, Texas, for the sixth biennial, invitation-only, 2019 Women’s Power Summit, presented by the Center for Women in Law. South Florida attorney Ellen S. Morris Esq., partner at Elder Law Associates PA, attended the two-day summit that featured noted women speakers from a variety of industries and professions.
The sessions were designed for and included chief legal officers, law firm managing partners, judges, government officials, bar presidents and other preeminent attorneys at the height of their careers, as well as leaders in academia, journalism and business who are positioned to make significant and lasting change in the legal professional. Speaking at the summit were Gloria Allred, founding partner of Allred, Maroko & Goldberg, Sally Yates, former Deputy Attorney General of the United States Department of Justice, U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-New Hampshire) who was also a former Attorney General for New Hampshire, and many other prominent attorneys and business leaders.
“The Women’s Power Summit was a truly enlightening experience with dynamic speakers and thought-provoking sessions,” said Ms. Morris. “I was fortunate to be among such an inspiring group of leaders and executives who graciously shared their ideas, strategies and best practices.”
