Attorney Dayami Sans, Esq., Named to South Palm Beach County Bar Association Board of Directors for the Young Lawyers Section

Elder Law Associates PA is pleased to announce that Dayami Sans, Esq., an associate attorney at the firm headquartered in Boca Raton with offices in Aventura, Weston and West Palm Beach, was recently appointed to the Palm Beach County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Board of Directors. She was installed at the 58th Annual Installation Gala held on Saturday, May 18, at Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton. The gala featured cocktails, dinner and dancing as well as the installation ceremony of the new 2019-2020 officers and board members. Ms. Sans will serve on the board for the remaining part of 2019 into 2020.
The South Palm Beach County Bar Association is a not-for-profit voluntary bar association established in 1960. The organization was established to foster a shared commitment to excellence in law, while enhancing the skills of its members through education, networking and community outreach. The Young Lawyers Section offers a variety of opportunities for lawyers to meet and provide services for the community. Monthly activities include continuing legal education programs, networking happy hour, a judicial breakfast/lunch with the county judiciary, charitable endeavors, such as working on projects for Habitat for Humanity and Adopt-a-School, serving lunches at a local homeless shelter and hosting a holiday party for foster children.

An associate attorney on the Elder Law Associates PA team, Ms. Sans concentrates her practice in the areas of elder and special needs law, wills, trusts and advance directives, Medicaid and disability planning, including the preparation of trusts, guardianship, asset preservation planning, estate and trust administration, elder and special needs law litigation, including guardianship litigation, fiduciary litigation, will contests and nursing home residents’ rights litigation. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Ms. Sans earned her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Florida International University. She obtained her Juris Doctor and Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from St. Thomas University. She is admitted to the Florida Bar and currently serves as the co-chairperson of the Mentoring Committee of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar and on the board of directors for the Young Lawyers Section of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association.
